About The Role

Position: Event Steward – Liverpool

Hourly Rate: £12.71 (Entry Level) — £13.45 (depending on role & location)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Monitoring access points and site perimeter patrolling.
  • Ingress control – ticket validation, accreditation checks, guest direction and queries.
  • Crowd management – foot traffic direction, maintaining order, reporting anti‑social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to.
  • Deliver approachable customer service and support.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour / take appropriate action.
  • Egress control.
  • Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches and patrols.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:
  • Over 18 years old.
Skills & Experience:
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Friendly, approachable and confident engaging with the public.
  • Good awareness of security risks and threats present at events and festivals.
  • Confidence working in busy, high‑energy environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and record issues.
Additional Requirements:
  • Happy camping and able to provide the essential camping equipment (if working at festivals).
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • You may be required to gain an L2 Spectator Safety certificate as part of your employment; this training will be provided by FGH Training free of charge.
  • If your application is successful, you'll need to complete security screening in line with BS7858:2019, along with a DBS check.
  • If you already have a valid Standard or Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months, this can be used.
  • If not, FGH Group is happy to arrange a DBS check for you. In this case, you would cover the cost of the check, and FGH Group will take care of the administration fee.
