About The Role
- Position: Door Supervisor – M&S Bank Arena & Philharmonic
- Hourly Rate: £13.10 (Entry level) – £14.61 depending on role and position plus holiday pay
- Holiday Accrual: 12.07% per government guidelines
- Schedule: typical shift 17:00 – 23:30
- Location: M&S Bank Arena and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic
We are looking for experienced Event Door Supervisors and Response Security Officers who champion our values to join our teams Keeping People Safe at the M&S Bank Arena and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. The ideal candidate will need a minimum of 3 years of experience working in event security. An SIA Door Supervision Licence is essential for this role.
Duties
- Assess the suitability of guests and monitor behaviour in line with policies/legal requirements.
- Ensuring the venue operates to a safe capacity and crowds are dispersed appropriately.
- Patrolling the venue and undertaking occasional physical searches of guests.
- Requiring guests to leave the venue and/or refusing entry to guests when behaviour/suitability is not in line with house-rules/policies. On occasions, this may require physical intervention.
- Protection of assets.
- Reporting and recording details of incidents, searches and patrol.
- Collaborate with front-of-house, housekeeping, and management teams to enhance the overall guest experience.
Requirements
- SIA Door Supervision Licence
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in event security.
- L2 or willingness to achieve this qualification (training will be provided by FGH Training free of charge).
