Compensation £12.71 per hour plus holiday pay (FGH Group operates a Holiday Accrual scheme in line with the government guidelines at 12.07%).

Role Summary: We are looking for Event Safety Stewards who champion our values to join our team keeping people safe at Headingley Stadium's Cricket Ground and other events and festivals across the UK.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years old to apply for this role.
Main Duties:
- Monitoring access points and site perimeter patrolling.
- Ingress control – ticket validation, accreditation checks, guest direction and queries.
- Crowd management – foot traffic direction, maintaining order, reporting anti-social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to.
- Deliver approachable customer service and support.
- Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour / take appropriate action.
- Egress control.
- Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches and patrols.
About You:
- Have a clear passion for Keeping People Safe.
- Have a good understanding of security risks and threats present at events, festivals and stadiums.
- Be friendly and have great interpersonal skills.
- Have excellent communications skills.
- Love training: we have a learning culture and are rigorous in upskilling ourselves and others.
Training: You will be required to gain your L2 in Spectator Safety certificate as part of your employment, if you don't already have one, this training will be provided by FGH training free of charge.
Security Screening: If your application is successful, you’ll need to complete security screening in line with BS7858:2019, along with a DBS check. If you already have a valid Standard or Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months, this can be used. If not, FGH Group is happy to arrange a DBS check for you. In this case, you would cover the cost of the check, and FGH Group will take care of the administration fee.
