About The Role

  • Position: Security Area Manager - Events & Stadiums London
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week

We are looking for a new Area Manager responsible for overseeing a portfolio of stadiums, venues and events, ensuring operation excellence, developing high-performing teams and building strong client relationships.

Strong knowledge of crowd management, event safety and security operations is essential for this role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of different stadiums, venues and events, in line with client requirements.
  • Attending weekly meetings with clients and stakeholders, as well conducting as regular site visits/ audits.
  • Work with the resourcing team to ensure staffing levels are achieved.
  • Support the recruitment, training and development of operational teams.
  • Create and maintain a skills matrix for each site with up-to-date training records.
  • Line manage team members from the London Events & Stadiums region, focusing on mentoring, coaching and development.
  • Monthly reviews of the risk assessments and assignment instructions to ensure the team is working in a safe environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, legislation, and industry best practice.
  • Identifying and pursuing growth opportunities with the events sector to expand our portfolio.

Requirements

  • SIA Door Supervisor.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Strong knowledge of crowd management, event safety and security operations.
  • Previous security experience managing large-scale events and multi-site operations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in various software tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays in line with the events calendar.
  • Preferred Requirements
  • Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Spectator safety.
  • Experience using workforce management and event planning systems.
  • Schedule
  • 40 hours per week (evenings and weekends required).
