About The Role

To support the business in the management of fraud prevention through investigation, operational, and analytical tasks and support the credit risk team through ownership and overhaul of the management information.

Accountabilities

  • Take ownership of existing reporting across the credit risk team.
  • Identify and investigate emerging fraud trends, risks, and opportunities and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Define and develop new reports to meet business needs.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, resolve issues and/or improve business performance.
  • Develop into a SME of fraud operational processes and be on hand to help with processes in busy periods.
  • Eager to learn and willing to take on tasks outside of usual responsibilities.
  • To be committed to good outcomes for customers at all times.
  • To comply with FCA regulations, where applicable.
  • Demonstrate behaviours in line with our Company values.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable UK and local regulations, Company Policies and FCA Conduct Rules.

About You

  • Educated to Degree Level or equivalent; preferably in a numerate discipline.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in analytical techniques.
  • Able to keep a customer focus throughout projects.
  • Able to independently find and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Able to communicate results from projects concisely and present recommendations after analysis.
  • Able to plan and prioritise projects and adapt to changes.
  • Worked in a group or team to deliver a project.
  • Maths and English grade C or above, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy.
  • Eager to learn and able to identify areas for self-improvement.
  • Able to commute to Bradford city centre.
