About The Role

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in delivering successful change across FGH by working within the Value Delivery Office (VDO), who act as the champions for change and delivery across the business. As part of the VDO, the Business Analyst will serve as a primary conduit between business teams and IT, ensuring alignment, clarity and shared understanding throughout the change lifecycle. The role is responsible for translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and supporting the design and delivery of solutions that are both commercially valuable and technically feasible. This includes working closely with architects, developers, subject matter experts and external partners to bring structure, insight and rigour to complex or ambiguous problem spaces. A positive, proactive and pragmatic approach is essential. The Business Analyst must balance business priorities with technical constraints, acting as an unbiased coordinator who facilitates decisionmaking and helps teams converge on practical, robust solutions. Using broad IT knowledge and retail understanding, the role will identify opportunities to improve processes, challenge constructively, and support the continuous uplift of delivery and analysis practices across the VDO and wider business. In addition, the Business Analyst contributes to the development of Business Architecture by bringing insights from projects into the broader enterprise context, ensuring alignment across processes, systems and customer journeys.
