The Opportunity
We are looking for a Head of Refined Products Analysis to lead and shape our global view of refined product markets.
This is more than a traditional research leadership role. You will be responsible for developing the house view across gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, fuel oil and other key products, bringing together supply and demand, refinery operations, trade flows, inventories and pricing to explain what is changing, why it matters and what comes next.
You will lead a global team, work directly with senior clients and play an important role in developing the models and analytical capabilities that will underpin the next generation of FGE NexantECA research.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in oil and refined products across market intelligence, trading, consulting, refining or the wider energy industry.
- Deep understanding of supply, demand, trade flows, pricing and refining economics.
- Strong experience in market analysis, balances, forecasting and modelling.
- A track record of leading and developing talented analytical teams.
- Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of how clients use market intelligence to make decisions.
- Credibility with senior industry participants and the ability to communicate complex market dynamics simply and confidently.
- Intellectual curiosity and the confidence to develop a market view, challenge assumptions and bring new ideas to the table.
