HR Administrator/Advisor – Essex – Up to £30k (pro rata)
Part-Time (3/4 days a week and 1 day in office)
A growing transportation company based in Essex is seeking a dedicated and ambitious HR Administrator/Advisor to partner closely with the Head of HR.
This part-time role (3-4 days per week) will primarily be remote, with an average requirement of one day per week in their Essex office.
- HR Administration: Manage and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Process HR documentation and maintain HR databases
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews. Facilitate new hire onboarding procedures
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Address employee concerns and escalate issues as appropriate
- Policy Implementation: Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards
- Performance Management: Assist in performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters
- Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees. Monitor and track training attendance and completion
- HR Reporting: Prepare HR reports and metrics on a regular basis. Analyse data and provide insights to support HR decision-making.
- Compliance: Stay updated on employment laws and regulations. Ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements and industry standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Advisor, or similar role
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Familiarity with UK employment laws and regulations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
