We are seeking a passionate and skilled HR Data & Insights Lead for a newly created, pivotal role within a growing HR team. This role is designed to harness advanced analytical thinking, data expertise, and visual storytelling to inform and influence people-related decisions across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytics and Insights
- Extract and provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to influence people-related decisions.
- Research and integrate external data sets and industry benchmarks, providing context and positioning against best-in-class standards.
- Develop clear, actionable dashboards and presentations tailored for a variety of audiences across the business.
- Reporting
- Design and deliver high-quality management reporting dashboards, including headcount reporting and KPI tracking, presented in a visually compelling manner.
- Lead all internal and external HR data reporting activities, including statutory reporting, survey submissions, benchmarking, and audit preparation.
- Manage data reporting requirements for annual HR processes such as performance management, reward cycles, people planning, and talent reviews.
- Data Management and Governance
- Maintain and enhance the quality and accuracy of HR data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and best practice standards.
- Define and clarify roles and responsibilities for data management across HR and business teams.
- Support HR Business Partners and HR Coordinators to improve data quality within HR systems.
- Conduct data cleansing activities and oversee regular data audits.
- Assist with monthly payroll data reviews and approvals.
- Identify and lead opportunities for continuous improvement in people data, coaching the HR team to build their data and analytics capabilities.
- HR Systems and Data Architecture
- Partner with key stakeholders to enhance the HR data and reporting architecture.
- Provide business ownership for various HR data tools and systems, supporting continuous enhancement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively to develop and deliver a roadmap for HR technology improvements, identifying both incremental and transformative change opportunities.
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
- Experience in people analytics or a related field.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with proven ability to create dashboards and compelling insights.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills essential. (Experience with SAGE HRIS is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and accessible manner.
- Experience in property, real estate, or a related sector is an advantage.
