Ffynone House School has a vacancy for a passionate and engaging Violin Teacher to join our vibrant school community in the heart of Swansea. This is a self-employed, part-time position, working alongside our dedicated and experienced peripatetic team. The role involves approximately one day teaching a range of age groups with the possibility of taking a string ensemble. You would also be expected to prepare pupils for music exams, GCSE performances and concerts throughout the school year. Our peripatetic violin teacher would be expected to nurture musicality, technical aptitude and a love of music, alongside an enjoyment of performing.
Ffynone House is an independent school and charitable trust that provides a first-class, all-round education for every child. With around 150 students on roll, each pupil is treated as an individual to ensure they achieve their full potential. Small class sizes ensure that our students are confident and eager to learn, allowing our staff to focus on delivering excellent outcomes.
