Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, we are seeking an experienced Planner to support the delivery of multiple civil engineering and infrastructure projects across a diverse portfolio of works. This position will be based from Leeds and will support projects across the wider business, providing planning expertise from pre-construction through to project completion.

Working closely with Operational, Commercial and Delivery teams, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining and monitoring project programmes, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual and client requirements. Projects typically include water infrastructure, reinforced concrete structures, deep drainage, pumping stations, service reservoirs, utility diversions, earthworks, highways and associated civil engineering works.

Reporting directly to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for providing accurate planning support across multiple projects, ensuring programme performance is maintained and project teams have clear visibility of progress, risk and resource requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience As A Planner Within Civil Engineering Or Infrastructure
  • Proficient In Primavera P6 And/Or Asta Powerproject
  • Strong Understanding Of Civil Engineering Construction Methodologies
  • Experience Working On Infrastructure, Utilities Or Water Projects
  • Excellent Communication & Analytical Skills
  • Ability To Work Closely With Operational & Commercial Teams
  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Water Sector Experience
  • NEC Contract Awareness
  • Engineering Or Construction Related Qualification
  • Experience Working On Multi Project Frameworks
  • Experience Working Within Tier 1 Or Principal Contractor Environments
