Job Title: Assistant Accountant Salary: circa £30,000- £35,000 DOE Location: St Helens Our client is a reputable and growing family business based in St Helens, who are looking for a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join their close-knit team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will include: Responsibilities include: Support with the production of month end accounts Assist with the production of management accounts, supporting the Finance Manager Manage the rebate process Post bank transactions Analyse stock costing and report on costs for manufacturing Balance sheet reconciliation Responsible for supplier claims and debits & credits Any ad hoc duties as required to support the finance team and wider business The ideal candidate: Previous experience within a similar position Analytical mindset Strong excel skills Friendly personality and strong work ethic High level of accuracy This is an exciting time to join a strong, growing family business.
