A leading global technology company is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth in the UK’s alternative network (altnet) broadband market. This is a high-impact role for a proven sales leader with the skills, relationships, and market insight to expand the company’s footprint and deliver outstanding results.
About the Role
You will define and execute a go-to-market strategy, lead a remote sales team, and manage the entire sales cycle – from prospecting and solution design to closing high-value deals. You’ll leverage your deep understanding of broadband technologies and the UK altnet market to build lasting, C-level relationships and secure multi-year agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a successful go-to-market strategy for the UK altnet market.
- Lead a remote and virtual team to secure new business and strengthen positions in existing accounts.
- Manage the sales cycle from initial engagement to closure.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior client executives, including C-suite and board members.
- Create complex, value-based solutions and establish competitive differentiation.
About You
- 5+ years of quota-carrying, value-based technology sales experience with a strong record of new business growth.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK broadband market, specifically altnets.
- Established and referenceable C-level relationships across the altnet sector.
- Proven history of exceeding sales targets in disruptive technology markets.
- Strong understanding of broadband technologies and market strategies.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS365 and Salesforce (SFDC).
- Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.
