We’re looking for a People Coordinator & Studio Manager to care for the day-to-day rhythms of our team and workspace with thoughtfulness, consistency and calm. Someone who understands that great employee experience is built through detail, clarity and follow-through and who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
This role sits at the intersection of people, process and place. You’ll support our growing team through excellent people operations, while also ensuring our studio environment is well-run, welcoming and functional.
The RoleYou’ll be the steady hand across people administration and office operations, owning the essentials that make Ffern a supportive, well-organised place to work. Working closely with the People team and studio leadership, you’ll bring structure, consistency and care to contracts, systems, policies and the physical new studio space. It’s a role rooted in service, reliability and trust.
People Operations- Own contracts, onboarding paperwork and joining processes from offer to day one
- Maintain HR data and systems, including joiners, leavers and role changes
- Prepare letters, references and core people documentation with accuracy and care
- Administer people policies, including sickness, leave and benefits
- Support basic people reporting such as headcount and absence tracking
- Act as a dependable point of contact for day-to-day people admin queries
- Coordinate our new office operations, including supplies, desks and facilities issues
- Liaise with building management and external suppliers
- Support health & safety and compliance administration
- Oversee IT support coordination and workspace administration
- Ensure the studio runs smoothly, calmly and consistently day to day
- Maintain clear, organised systems that support a positive employee experience
- Spot opportunities to improve consistency and efficiency across people and office processes
- Provide essential operational support to the wider People team, creating resilience and continuity
- Highly organised, detail-driven and dependable
- Comfortable with administration, systems and process ownership
- People-oriented, practical and calm in your approach
- Confident juggling multiple priorities without things slipping
- Someone who takes quiet pride in making things work well
- Experience in a second people/HR coordination role, or similar HR admin background
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Confidence working with HR systems and office tools
- A collaborative mindset and a service-led approach
