Jackson Hogg are exclusively working with FFE Ltd, a specialist fire detector manufacturer and one of the world's largest manufacturers of optical beam smoke detectors and flame detectors. FFE is part of the Halma plc group, a UK-based global FTSE 100 company.

We're looking for a Production Engineer to be responsible for supporting day-to-day production, bringing new products and processes into manufacturing and driving process improvements in both way of working and the equipment used to deliver safer working environments. This position requires an experienced engineer with a broad skill set in both electronic & mechanical engineering, a solid background in PCBA manufacturing, and a high-performance mindset.

  • Support manufacturing teams with hands-on technical problem solving
  • Investigate and resolve recurring quality, process, and downtime issues
  • Monitor and improve PCBA test performance and yield
  • Update test specifications, limits, and software
  • Work closely with Quality and Supply Chain to ensure compliance

Manufacturing/Production Engineering qualifications/background with strong electronics bias:

  • Proven PCBA manufacturing experience
  • Good understanding of electronic test systems and data analysis
  • Full UK driving licence is beneficial
