We are seeking a detail-oriented E-commerce Product Photographer who can create functional, sales-driven product images that work well in online listings and help our products stand out.
Role Overview:
The E-commerce Product Photographer will be responsible for producing, editing, and optimising product photos that meet e-commerce standards. The ideal candidate understands how photography impacts conversions, knows how to create clear and functional images that highlight product features, and can collaborate closely with the content and marketing team to ensure images align with listings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality product photos (studio) for use on e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure photos meet online marketplace requirements (size, resolution, white background, etc.).
- Create functional, informative images that clearly communicate product features, usage, and value.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align product images with brand tone and product descriptions.
- Retouch and edit photos to ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy.
- Stay updated on e-commerce photography best practices and trends.
- (Preferred) Knowledge of how product images contribute to visibility and conversion on platforms like Amazon, Shopify, and other online marketplaces.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a photographer specialising in e-commerce or product photography.
- Proficiency with professional camera equipment, studio lighting, and editing software (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).
- Strong visual storytelling skills, able to highlight product benefits through images.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and organisational skills.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Amazon listings, A+ content, or product videos.
