As an Online Assistant Merchandiser Planner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our online clothing proposition performs brilliantly for customers. Highly organised and data‑driven, you’ll support trading and stock management, deliver accurate reporting, and help shape digital ranging. You’ll also enable smooth, timely online product launches - working collaboratively to drive commercial performance and a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Reporting & Digital Trade Insights
    • Creating and distributing daily and weekly online trading reports, highlighting performance, trends and opportunities.
    • Preparing trade analysis for online MPMs to inform weekly trade meetings and commercial decisions.
    • Maintaining key trackers, dashboards and KPIs used to track online performance, availability and conversion.
    • Providing data‑driven insights that support agile trading and risk‑mitigation decisions.
  • Online Range & Enrichment Support
    • Supporting the online range planning process through data‑led ranging and de‑ranging recommendations.
    • Collaborating with buying teams to ensure products have complete, accurate attributes, titles, copy and imagery.
    • Preparing for online range sign‑off and strategy meetings by analysing history, trends and best/worst performance.
    • Helping coordinate product enrichment and readiness for launch.
  • Online Stock, Availability & Supply Support
    • Supporting performing reviews, availability analysis and the identification of risks or gaps.
    • Partnering with supply chain teams to monitor online replenishment, resolve issues and support fulfilment readiness.
    • Escalating replenishment, availability or allocation issues early to minimise impact on online trading.
  • Digital Critical Path & Launch Coordination
    • Supporting delivery of the online critical path for launches, promotions and seasonal events.
    • Monitoring product setup progress and ensuring tasks are completed on time for digital go‑live.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Working closely with Online & commercial team MPMs/AMPs, Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing, Digital Product and Technology teams.

Required qualifications

  • Previous merchandising, planning or analytical experience, ideally within eCommerce or multichannel retail.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using Excel and digital performance tools.
  • Ability to interpret commercial and digital data (traffic, conversion, stock, availability, search behaviour).
