Main Responsibilities
As a Travel Money Manager for Sainsbury's, you willbe responsible forthe performance of 5 Travel Money shops in the Hampshire area.
- Leadingby example, engaging with customers, providingexpert advice on travel money, and promoting our travel money products to enhance their holiday experience.
- You will set targets for your team, monitortheir performance through observations and regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to help them develop their potential.
- Operationally, you will follow procedures to minimise risk, protect assets, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Ordering currency to ensureoptimumstock performance
- Supporting with the hiring of Travel Money Advisors
- Build professional relationships with colleaguesacross the Fexco organisation
- You willdemonstrateeffective communication, organisational efficiency, and attention to detail
- Role modelling our behaviours and encouraging the stores teams todemonstratethem daily
- Developing your business through engaging in business development
Qualifications and Experience
- As a Travel Money Manager for Sainsbury's, you are a proactive and resilient leader with a strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Your ability to lead by example, set targets, andmonitorteam performance allows you to drive the business forward while providing constructive feedback and coaching to develop your team members.
- Organised and efficient, you excel in prioritising a busy workload, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation, and managing costs within the bureau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
- People management experience in customer facing cash handling roles is essential
- Comfortable communicating on all levels including within the business and to external customers and suppliers
- Must be flexible and have a can-do attitude and approach
- There is a need for regular travel and shift work within the stores so it is essential you live on or near the patch
