Introducing the Fexco Property Services Group
The Group currently consists of multiple property management brands, delivering property management services to over 100,000 homes across England and Wales. Our colleagues work on customer and client facing roles, as well as many other varied roles and skillsets, in a diverse, growing, and dynamic organisation and sector. We operate from multiple office locations throughout the UK, and we are part of the multi-national Fexco group, with products and services spanning multiple sectors and geographies internationally.
About this Role:
Fexco Property Services runs a busy programme of change across its Digital, Data and Technology team, from system and data migrations to reporting and process improvement. This role owns the delivery of that work. The Delivery Manager sits between the business and the technical teams, manages the delivery backlog, and takes projects through to completion so that change is planned, tracked and adopted by the people who use it. The role reports to the Director of Digital, Data and Technology and works closely with business analysts, technical staff and stakeholders across all brands.
Main Duties and Objectives:
- Own and manage the delivery backlog across the DDaT portfolio, setting and adjusting priorities with the Director and wider team.
- Run projects from planning through delivery to handover, using a consistent and lightweight delivery method.
- Act as the link between business requirements and technical delivery, working closely with business analysts and technical staff.
- Drive the data and reporting workstream of the current business system migration through to completion.
- Manage the planned transition away from an outgoing managed service provider contract, keeping to agreed dates and avoiding service gaps.
- Set up and run simple delivery governance, tracking risks, dependencies, actions and progress.
- Lead change management, communication and engagement so that new systems and processes are adopted and rework is reduced.
- Manage stakeholders across multiple brands and up to senior leadership level, keeping them informed and aligned.
- Report clearly and regularly to the Director on delivery status, risks and blockers, and escalate when needed.
- Support resourcing and planning decisions so the team meets its delivery commitments and deadlines.
Essential Skills:
- Proven delivery or agile project management experience, with real ownership of a backlog and delivery outcomes.
- A track record of connecting business requirements with technical teams and turning them into delivered work.
- Change management experience, with evidence that the change delivered was taken up and held.
- Strong stakeholder management, including working with and influencing senior leaders.
- Able to run several workstreams at once in a multi-site, multi-brand environment.
- Well organised and self-starting, able to bring order and pace to a busy portfolio.
- Clear written and verbal communication, able to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in property, property management or a similar regulated or service-led sector.
- Experience of ERP or business system migrations, ideally MRI, Qube or similar.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft stack, including Microsoft 365 and Power BI.
- An agile qualification such as Scrum Master, or experience setting up a PMO.
- Prince2, MSP or an equivalent project or programme qualification.
