Role Overview
The Data Entry Clerk will support Digital Data and Technologys's ongoing systems and data work, with an immediate focus on migrating data from a legacy system to a new platform as part of the Group's restructuring.
The role is responsible for accurately reviewing, cleansing, validating and inputting data, working at pace while maintaining a high level of accuracy, and provides ongoing data entry and administrative support to the team once migration activity is complete.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input, update and maintain data within source systems, preparing records for migration.
- Review data extracted from source systems and identify inconsistencies, duplicates, missing information or errors.
- Perform data cleansing activities to improve data accuracy and integrity prior to migration.
- Validate migrated data against source records and investigate discrepancies between systems.
- Support reconciliation exercises to confirm completeness and accuracy of migrated records.
- Work closely with DDa T and relevant brand teams to resolve data quality issues.
- Escalate data anomalies and system issues to the line manager rather than resolving them by guesswork.
- Maintain data confidentiality and comply with company policies, GDPR requirements and data security standards, particularly for records relating to FCA-regulated brands.
- Provide general data entry and administrative support across DDa T once migration work is complete.
