Within the Fexco Group, the UK Retail Foreign Exchange (RFX) Division is one of the UK’s largest independent providers of foreign exchange services. CEC Ltd delivers accessible, customer-focused travel money services through a network of 64 own retail locations and 170 agents across the UK. Our services are delivered under several trusted retail brands, including the well-known No1 Currency, which is recognised for its strong presence and reputation in the travel money market. In January 2026 RFX will be integrating the Sainsburys Travel Money Business into its network, allowing many more customers to benefit from the great rates and fantastic service that we offer.
We are looking for 2 Client Account Managers (CAM) to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. These roles are based in our Edinburgh office, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week. Core hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend support required.
Job Purpose
We’re looking for a Client Account Manager to be the go-to contact for our company-owned stores and a portfolio of agents who offer foreign exchange through our agency model. You’ll make sure they get the right currency at the right time, resolve issues quickly, and help them grow their FX business. It’s a role that blends relationship management, problem-solving, and operational know-how to keep our network running smoothly and profitably.
Main Responsibilities
- Relationship Management
- Be the first point of contact for your portfolio of stores and agents, building strong relationships and ensuring they get the help they need quickly.
- Support new clients through onboarding, making sure they have everything in place to start trading successfully.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and stores to understand their needs, answer questions, and offer guidance to help them succeed.
- Operational Delivery
- Manage currency orders and stock for your portfolio, making sure everything is accurate, on time, and within agreed limits.
- Monitor client deposit levels and manage exposure in line with agreed parameters.
- Resolve operational or delivery issues by working closely with suppliers and internal teams.
- Keep marketing materials up to date and ensure they’re used effectively to support sales.
- Handle card payment and direct debit processes as needed.
- Business Growth & Support
- Help clients and stores grow their FX sales by sharing advice, insights, and regular performance updates.
- Take part in monthly client reviews and follow up on agreed actions.
- Identify opportunities for marketing activities or process improvements that will benefit your clients.
Qualifications / Experience Required
Essential
- Experience in account management.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence handling client queries by phone and email.
- Good with numbers and accurate in handling transactions, pricing, or stock control.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word to an intermediate level.
Desirable
- Experience in foreign exchange or travel money.
- Basic understanding of credit control.
