The Area Greenspace Manager is an exciting new role requiring a flexible candidate with excellent greenspace skills to work with us as we further develop our sector leading team.
Our managed portfolio consists of over 700 sites ranging from small residential estates to large garden villages, country parks and urban extensions, many with existing ecological features such as woodland, ponds and waterways. We also have a strong pipeline of new sites with significant areas of green space.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Greenspace you will ensure that sites within your area are managed to a high standard with all compliance duties met. In addition, you will carry out pre-handover site audit reports at newly constructed residential development sites, prepare site maintenance specifications based on approved landscape management plans, scrutinise proposals including on-site Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) plans and assist our Business Development Team with tenders.
You will oversee collection of data required to satisfy Biodiversity Net Gain requirements and other corporate reporting including KPIs and customer satisfaction surveys. You will help to prepare budgets for each site which suitably cover all planned and reactive works.
You will be qualified to NQF level 4 or higher in relevant landscape sector (e.g. countryside management, horticulture, ecology), or have demonstrable equivalent knowledge through experience and learning.
