They’re hiring across multiple strengths - you don’t need to cover everything, but you should bring deep expertise in at least one core area:
- AI Engineering: LLM orchestration, prompting, and workflows; Evaluation systems and feedback loops; Reliable deployment of AI systems in production.
- Data Engineering: Data ingestion from heterogeneous sources; Data modelling, transformation, and pipelines; PostgreSQL, vector databases, medallion architectures.
- Enterprise Infrastructure: Multi-tenant SaaS systems; Cloud infrastructure and deployment; Security, authentication, and system reliability.
The role:
- Build and deploy AI systems using LLMs (prompting, orchestration, evaluation).
- Design and scale data pipelines across diverse sources (APIs, scraping, structured data).
- Develop core SaaS infrastructure, including multi-tenant architecture.
- Take ownership of system design across AI, data, and backend layers.
- Build for scale from day one while maintaining rapid iteration speed.
- Work closely with founders on product direction and technical strategy.
What they’re looking for:
- Proven track record of building and shipping real products (SaaS, pipelines, or strong side projects).
- Strong engineering fundamentals across systems, backend, or full-stack.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt across technologies (TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL).
- Experience using AI coding tools to significantly increase output.
- Strong problem-solving mindset - comfortable owning problems end-to-end.
- Bonus: exposure to healthcare, biotech, or regulated data environments.
