Permanent Lead Product Designer | Up to £100K DOE | London
They’re building a consumer-facing platform around utilities, insurance and subscription services - and after just one year of product-market fit, they’re scaling rapidly.
The role offers:
- End-to-end design ownership, with real influence on product direction in a growth-attuned company
- Fast-paced roadmap: insurance launch, subscription optimisation, AI-native chat and WhatsApp interfaces
- Competitive compensation (£80-100K base + equity), EMI options
- Office-first culture: min x3 days a week in London office (ideally 4 at the beginning)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High-growth startup or scaleup experience (B2C) with true design ownership end to end, of consumer mobile and web app products
- Able to run and lead squads, with strong storytelling skills
- Commercial rigour - able to talk about why you’ve made certain decisions from a commercial point of view
- 0-1 experience
- Able to thrive in high growth and ambiguous environments, showing evidence of solving real problems (versus narrow ownership within larger teams)
- Comfortable designing for regulated journeys and multi-step data capture
- Experience with conversational design and narrative threads across user journeys
