As part of the Fever Originals team, you will use data and insights to create one-of-a-kind events and experiences that allow people to have unforgettable moments.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and critical-thinking Production Manager who will lead the production of our largest and most exciting SSI experiences and manage a team of Associate and Junior producers to ensure high-quality experiences are delivered. This role requires flexibility, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while staying within budget. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the production of live events, shows, touring production, culinary experience, and/or immersive experiences. The Lead Producer will be accountable for the implementation and perfect execution of scalable events across their region. They will be responsible for challenging and adapting the event to local specificity, proposing new production formats, technologies, and solutions that could enhance Fever's experiences, as well as playing a pivotal role in shaping our event strategy.

Candidates should be passionate about delivering results and producing fun and entertaining experiences for all walks of the public. Strong communication skills are critical to success in this role. The right candidate will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal and project management skills.

You will:

  • Manage all aspects of event/project productions including pre-production logistics, planning, hiring, onsite execution, and post-event wrap-up.
  • Manage several productions across multiple cities and help scale various Fever Original SSI events against team targets.
  • Efficiently manage your portfolio of events, characterised by a high volume of events happening simultaneously.
  • Develop and manage event production budgets, optimising resources to achieve strategic goals, identifying revenue-generating opportunities and cost-saving measures.
  • Manage a team of local producers, providing guidance and support, acting as a dedicated lead for all things production-related.
  • Source and manage freelancers, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring delivery of quality services as per company standards.
  • Conduct venue research and booking, negotiate contracts with venues, third-party vendors, and talents.
  • Create production timelines and ensure that teams are keeping to schedule.
  • Secure proper event permits and meet insurance requirements, complete risk assessments when necessary, and be knowledgeable of regulations and best practices.
  • Handle administrative duties including expense reports, invoicing, and working with the legal department on contracts.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, departments, and stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of event deliverables.
  • Work with the Project Management team to ensure expectations and standards are met.
  • Domestic and international travel and work across time zones may be required.

Qualifications:

  • You have a successful track record of production management of live events/shows with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and pride yourself on your flexible, detailed, analytical mindset.
  • Candidates need to be passionate about the entertainment/events industry.
  • You will have to be comfortable delivering results in an ambiguous environment, being exceptionally detail-oriented while looking around corners and thinking bigger about how we create a compelling experience.
  • 5 years of experience in live event and/or experience production industry.
  • 1-2 years of people management experience.
  • Experience as production or project manager for theatre/dance entertainment or similar projects involving the management of third-party vendors and contractors is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects at any given time using best practice organisation in delivering multiple workstreams.
  • Proven experience in vendor negotiations, managing production budgets, and production issues such as permitting rules and regulations.
  • Understanding of fabrication processes.
  • Curious with an appetite for learning, keen to push boundaries and try new concepts, and the ability to pick up new skills quickly.
  • Able to communicate with various stakeholders, working collaboratively and willing to be hands-on.
  • You’ll be solution-focused, identifying problem areas and then creating plans to find resolutions.
