The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Quality & Compliance Co-ordinator to join our global Quality Team.

In this key role, you will focus on compliance support, technical administration and supplier co‑ordination, helping to strengthen governance across our external manufacturing network.

You’ll manage documentation control, audit actions, corrective action follow‑up and key regulatory requirements including FDA/FSVP and non‑GMO compliance.

Working closely with the Quality Assurance Co-ordinator and Supplier Quality leadership, you’ll support a centralised quality approach across the UK, EU, US and Australia.

This is a collaborative, cross‑functional role that underpins US-facing activities while embedding consistency and accountability across suppliers.

You will play an integral role in enhancing quality standards and ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional experience with our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Support
  • Take ownership of the non‑GMO certification process to ensure existing and new projects compliance.
  • Lead the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP), maintaining adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Manage FDA‑related processes to maintain compliance and market requirements.
  • Partner with the Regulatory team to ensure required product surveillance testing is completed.
  • Ensure co‑packers have the necessary information to support Halal and Kosher certification.
  • Support the rollout of Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and embed the process effectively within the business.
  • Documentation Management
  • Manage customer documentation requests and maintain systems, (e. g., Trace Gains), ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and coordinate export documentation to support international product registrations and compliance.
  • Maintain and continuously improve quality documentation and compliance processes.
  • Own the controlled document matrix, ensuring accuracy, traceability and version control.
  • Conduct internal audits of documentation and records to verify completeness and compliance.
  • Identify and implement improvements to documentation systems and tools, including automation opportunities.
  • Supplier Co‑ordination
  • Coordinate supplier quality activities, ensuring compliance requirements are clearly communicated and maintained.
  • Track and drive closure of follow‑up actions from supplier‑related quality activities, including corrective actions arising from complaints and investigations.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a food or beverage, manufacturing, technical or brand environment, or the potential to learn quickly and grow into the role
  • Exposure to US regulatory requirements, including FDA, Non‑GMO and FSVP, is preferred
  • A degree in Food Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical qualification or experience
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence in learning new systems and tools
  • A good understanding of GFSI standards, HACCP principles and quality management processes
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
  • The ability to analyse information and present it clearly, accurately and concisely
