Fever-Tree is hiring for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Operations Finance team in London.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the Group's overheads accounting and support the overheads budgeting process.
  • Support COGS and inventory accounting by posting journals and preparing reconciliations.
  • Prepare month-end accruals and prepayments across Group subsidiaries, ensuring accurate postings to support review at all levels of the reporting hierarchy.
  • Support the Company's standard costing and transfer pricing processes.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for Group subsidiaries.
  • Review in-month postings to ensure accurate classification, correct subsidiary allocation, and appropriate cost centre coding; make corrections where necessary and provide feedback to prevent future errors.
  • Prepare Group cost centre reports for budget holders.
  • Manage the Company's expense system and related postings.
  • Support fixed asset accounting activities.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis and reviews to provide insights and support business decision-making.
  • Review accounting processes and identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communicator, especially with non-financial stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, a self-starter and able to be agile with business change.
  • Good level of proficiency in Excel, able to analyse larger datasets and develop financial reports.
  • Keen eye for detail, able to spot inconsistencies in large data sets and identify areas of control risk.
  • Good understanding of FMCG businesses.
  • Quick learner with good financial acumen.

This role provides someone with the opportunity to study an accounting qualification such as ATT/CIMA/ACCA.
