What is Candlelight? Candlelight concerts offer a unique musical and sensory experience enhanced by candlelight ambiance. Our concerts showcase talent from emerging artists to professional musicians, presenting famous works of classical music in spectacular locations. We are expanding beyond classical music into genres like jazz, soul, flamenco, opera, and more!
We are seeking Event Managers to join our onsite events team to manage Fever Originals’ flagship experience, Candlelight. This freelance role offers flexible hours, varying monthly based on availability, with potential for extension and other opportunities in Fever Originals or permanent roles. Please note: Due to the role's nature, candidates should be willing to travel frequently and ideally reside locally.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing scheduled event timings as the main point of contact, under the guidance of the Lead City Coordinator
- Implementing new or updated production details, policies, and procedures
- Coordinating with artists and suppliers onsite
- Handling customer queries and complaints
- Creating event and incident reports
- Encouraging team performance and implementing improvements
- Providing photographs and feedback post-event to your Coordinator
- Representing Fever and Candlelight professionally, acting as the primary customer service contact at each event
Ideal candidates will have:
- A passion for live music and event delivery
- At least 1 year of event management experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience leading onsite staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Knowledge of AV and PA systems (preferred)
