About the Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Producer (Development) to support the Global Strategy & Planning Producer in progressing projects through the early stages of development for our international productions. This role focuses on coordinating the practical aspects of development, from venue research and site visits through to early‑stage planning and preparation for project greenlight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential venues and locations for future projects.
  • Support the preparation of materials for venue scouting and feasibility visits.
  • Track development activity across multiple projects, ensuring visibility and progress.
  • Maintain and update documentation relating to site availability and visits.
  • Coordinate international travel logistics for feasibility, creative, and technical site visits.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and ground transport, including complex multi‑city itineraries.
  • Work closely with Production Management to ensure all teams are fully prepared for site visits.
  • Attend internal and external meetings, contributing from a development and production perspective.
  • Provide diary coordination and administrative support to the Global Strategy & Planning Producer.
  • Step in to represent the Global Strategy & Planning Producer in meetings when required.

Contracts & Financial Administration:

  • Draft hire orders for global designers engaged during the development phase.
  • Coordinate NDAs and prepare freelancer agreements as required.
  • Raise and track purchase orders and invoices related to development activity.
  • Support financial administration linked to development budgets.

Project Systems & Documentation:

  • Maintain and organise shared project drives and development documentation.
  • Ensure key documents are accurate, up to date, and accessible to relevant teams.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for freelancers and collaborators.

Executive Support:

  • Provide diary coordination and administrative support to the Executive Producer and Associate Executive Producer when required.
  • Assist with general team coordination and internal logistics.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proactive and solution‑oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Organised and detail‑focused, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working across international teams, time zones, and fast‑paced environments.
  • A strong communicator, confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Able to think holistically, understanding how development activity impacts the wider production pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in live events or entertainment, ideally as a Senior Production Coordinator or Assistant Producer.
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven experience managing logistics, particularly international travel and accommodation.
  • Experience drafting freelancer contracts, NDAs, and commercial hire orders.
  • Comfortable raising and managing purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Experience with diary management and team coordination.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
  • A solution‑focused mindset with the ability to identify challenges and propose practical solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective cross‑team relationships.

Desirable:

  • Experience in outdoor or large‑scale events.
  • Experience working with major studios or IP holders.

About You:

You are passionate about development and understand the importance of this phase in shaping successful productions. You are detail‑oriented, able to think holistically, and thrive in fast‑paced environments. You take pride in improving processes and contributing to a collaborative, efficient team culture.
