The Quality & Regulatory Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dumfries, with flexibility for part of the work to be completed from home. This position oversees quality assurance and quality control processes across production lines to ensure products consistently meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements. The role includes developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits, managing documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality & Regulatory Manager monitors changes in relevant regulations, ensures compliance with local and international standards, and provides guidance and training to colleagues on quality and regulatory best practices. The role also involves collaborating with manufacturing, R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams to support product development, risk management, and customer-focused quality outcomes.

  • Strong knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and Regulatory Requirements related to animal nutrition, feed supplements, and food safety.
  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within manufacturing, agriculture, or food/feed industries.
  • Proficiency in Quality Management systems, including developing procedures, monitoring KPIs, and leading internal audits.
  • Experience with risk assessment, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Animal Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and train cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards or similar quality frameworks; experience with regulatory bodies and certification processes is an advantage.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing priorities across on-site and remote activities.
