THE ROLE
We\'re looking for an ambitious
Founding Engineer who thrives in high-intensity, high-impact environments. You\'ll be leading the development of
algorithms.
This role will involve processing
the signals coming from our proprietary sensors and developing
algorithms to detect and classify gestures. In addition, you will be working closely with the hardware team to provide feedback on the signal quality and characteristics. As we are a startup, we anticipate that you will be involved with many other aspects of the company, such as user data collection, firmware and software development kit (SDK) development, and more.
Key responsibilities
- Lead algorithm development, inclusive of signal processing and machine learning approaches.
- Collaborate with the Hardware Team to provide a seamless integration of hardware and software.
- Engage in research and development activities to explore new products and product features.
- Deploy the algorithm at a commercial grade level.
Essentials (these are minimum requirements)
- Excellent knowledge and skills with digital signal processing and machine learning.
- Proven experience in deploying production-ready algorithms.
- Flexibility to take on many different roles, as needed in a fast-growth startup company.
Desirables (we do not expect you to have all of these)
- Have previously deployed machine learning models to the market with great success.
- Expertise in firmware engineering.
- Experience with Nordic Semiconductor chips.
- Experience in SDK and API development.
