Fetch Travels specialises in in-home pet sitting, giving pets the comfort of staying in their own environment while their owners are away. After nearly five years of house and pet sitting experience, the business officially launched just over a year ago and has grown mainly through referrals. Clients trust us to care for their pets and homes with professionalism, reliability and warmth. We are now expanding our small network of sitters in London and Ireland.

Role Description

This is a paid role for a Pet Sitter at Fetch Travels. You’ll be responsible for caring for pets in their own homes, which includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship and ensuring their overall well-being. You’ll also make sure the home is safe, secure and lived-in while the owner is away, and provide regular updates with photos or messages to reassure them.

Assignments vary in length, from a few days to longer sits. Current opportunities include cover for London-based clients over the Christmas period, with more sits available throughout the year in London and Ireland. The role is flexible and can fit around freelance work, remote jobs or studies.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience with pets (pet sitting, house sitting, animal care or similar)
  • DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • At least two recent references
  • Pet sitting insurance (support can be provided to set this up)
  • Reliable, responsible and trustworthy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
