My client is a leading regional civil engineering contractor working across Civils, Highways, Tunnelling, Drainage and Utilities and have a variety of frameworks in the SE. They are looking to recruit an experienced Site Supervisor to assist in the timely delivery of the projects.
The duties of the Highways Supervisor role will include:
- Working with the planning and permitting teams to ensure all reactive works are planned efficiently and effectively
- Ensuring work resources are fully utilised at all times
- Writing health and safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and site packs ensuring all works have the appropriate documentation
- Ensuring works are fully permitted before implementation
- Writing programmes and updating them as required
- Raising technical queries and ensuring their resolution and sharing the relevant information with the commercial team
- Ensuring the smooth running of works through regular liaison with the client, employees and sub-contractors
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for an experienced Highway Supervisor who has worked within highways and reactive maintenance. You will be a proactive, flexible and motivated Highways Supervisor with excellent communication skills. To be considered for this role you must hold a CSCS Gold card and NRSWA certification.
