About the Role
The successful candidate will join a growing team and play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Reviewing tender documents and specifications
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
- Analysing tender returns and proposing cost-saving measures
- Providing commercial advice to the project team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or a related field (Desirable)
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction costs and estimating techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Excel, estimating software, and construction management software
