Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a bespoke construction firm based in Chichester, specialising in high end residential refurbishments and the construction of luxury one off new build houses across West Sussex and the South Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS to step into a senior role and take ownership of complex, high specification projects, working for a company renowned for quality and exceptional craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction to final account.
- Manage costs, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor packages, ensuring alignment with luxury specifications.
- Prepare and present detailed commercial reports to company directors and private clients.
- Negotiate and manage contracts specific to high-end residential and bespoke construction projects.
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality, on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lead on projects.
- Background in managing high end residential refurbishments and/or luxury one off house builds.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, particularly in dealing with high-specification materials and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
