An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Revit Technician to support the design and detailing of precast concrete flooring systems. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to develop accurate 3D models and detailed drawings for precast concrete floor solutions used across a range of construction projects. This role requires strong experience using Revit within the construction or structural engineering sector, with a particular focus on concrete or precast elements. The position is based in Cambridgeshire and offers flexibility for both full-time and contract candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and develop detailed Revit models and technical drawings for precast concrete flooring systems.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings to create accurate 3D models and layouts.
- Coordinate with internal teams, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure models meet project specifications.
- Prepare production drawings, schedules, and installation details.
- Maintain and update BIM models throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and project requirements.
- Assist with clash detection and coordination within BIM environments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience using Revit within a structural, construction, or engineering environment.
- Experience working with concrete structures, ideally precast concrete systems.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and construction detailing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with BIM workflows and coordination is advantageous.
