My client is a leading Civil Infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join their project management team delivering a variety of Civil Engineering schemes at Gatwick Airport.
Role Overview: As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the project delivery and subcontractor management aspects of multiple contracts and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of complex and innovative projects within one of the UK’s busiest airports.
The role will involve:
- Management of multiple teams covering commercial, planning, design and delivery
- Client facing role, attending client meetings
- Responsible for project P+L, ensuring costs are regularly monitored across the scheme
- Design management
- Overseeing and planning works
- Reviewing designs, costings and making any alterations to the programme as required
Requirements:
- Degree educated (or equivalent) in civil engineering or construction management
- Over 3 years experience of working as a Project Manager on civil engineering projects
- Able to plan ahead, and ensure all project delivery requirements are in place
- Able to monitor H&S and compliance requirements in accordance with local council regulations
