Overview

Responsible for management and development of a portfolio of accounts to protect & grow turnover and profitability. Prospect new accounts. Maximise sales and distribution of the Company’s full range of products in the defined territory.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for regular contact with customers to maximise the effectiveness of account penetration and maintain/develop the customer relationship.
  • Accountability for achieving all targets on sales turnover for the designated geography and account base.
  • Responsible for economically covering an allocated sales region, ensuring coverage of all existing and prospective customers.
  • Promote the Company showrooms and prioritise visits to the showroom for ordering.
  • Submit all sales admin documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Report regularly on sales performance and feedback on market intelligence.

Experience

  • A history of selling into garden centres (essential).
  • Experience of working with seasonal products and pre-selling (desirable).
