We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Part-Time Administrator to join our team. This role will provide essential support across Health & Safety and HR functions, ensuring compliance, accurate record-keeping, and smooth day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining staff records, managing document filing systems, supporting HR and H&S processes, including assisting with compliance checks. This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, good IT skills, and an interest in developing knowledge in HR.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety Administration
- Scan and file documents onto the server (e.g. service sheets, training records, accident forms).
- File signed equipment check sheets and personnel documents.
- Regularly review the staff training matrix, highlight training needs, and liaise with the Director / HR manager to arrange external training.
- Use BrightSafe to issue internal training courses and track completion.
- Monitor the building maintenance schedule and notify the H&S Director of upcoming inspections and checks.
HR Administration
- Scan and securely file HR documents into personnel files
- Maintain notice boards with up-to-date information.
- Assist with planning staff events.
- Update employee records and training information on the BrightSafe
- Learn HR processes to provide support to the HR Manager
About You:
- Previous administration experience is desirable (HR or H&S administration an advantage).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using IT systems and able to learn new platforms quickly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work.
What We Offer:
- Part-time hours: 10-15 hours spilt over 3 or 4 days – we are open to discuss, Monday – Thursday
- Training and support to develop HR and H&S knowledge.
