The Queens Hall is one of Scotland's premier independent live music venues, playing host to an extraordinary range of world class artists from all musical fields, and is the main rehearsal and performance venue for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. It also serves as a venue for the Edinburgh International Festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival.

About the Role:

  • To be a member of the front-line team providing Box Office functions.
  • To ensure a high level of service at all times to external customers (including promoters) and colleagues.
  • To maintain the efficient and effective running of The Queen’s Hall Box Office, managing alongside the Box Office Manager and taking overall responsibility in their absence.
  • To maintain a high standard of Box Office service, assist the Box Office Manager in the implementation of overall Box Office policy, and play an active part in the promotion of the venue’s events, contributing to the overall marketing plan of The Queen’s Hall.
  • To ensure that The Queen’s Hall is a welcoming, comfortable and safe place for all users including audiences, customers and staff.
