Due to continued growth and success, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team, supporting projects across Central Scotland.

The Role

This is an opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking business delivering major MEP projects across Central Scotland. The Mechanical Project Manager will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical and wider MEP packages, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to high quality standards. Working closely with design, engineering, planning, commercial and operational teams, you will manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and final account.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating labour and subcontractors
  • Managing technical submissions and documentation
  • Overseeing programmes and budgets
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Leading and developing site teams
  • Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture
  • Supporting continuous improvement
  • Driving a “right first time” approach

You will work on complex, high-profile projects within a collaborative, supportive environment with genuine long-term progression.

About You

Experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong track record delivering complex M&E projects in the construction industry. Ideally experienced working alongside Tier 1 main contractors in sectors such as Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Industrial, Data Centres or Energy. Strong technical, commercial and leadership skills. Confident managing projects from pre-construction through to handover. Able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders. Good understanding of design and build procurement, commissioning and handover, Health & Safety management and modern methods of construction (including off-site fabrication). Proactive, solutions-focused and able to manage budgets, programmes, quality and operational delivery simultaneously. Electrical experience advantageous but not essential.
