The Role

This role is full-time, 40 hours per week. This position is two roles in one – first working with our new AI system to process doctor notes (a new change from the traditional medical typist role) and secondly working with the wider Administration team undertaking general clinic administrative duties.

This is a varied and fast-paced role with many moving parts and requires someone who genuinely enjoys learning and having a wide knowledge base, often the first point of call for questions.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage up to 100 doctor\’s letters per week on new AI system

Edit and send documents via app to doctors and patients

Provide doctor diary management support and scheduling

Work in software platforms (MediTex, Salve), with accuracy

Attend reception – take payments, book appointments, and answer patient queries (which can often include answering a lot of phone calls!)

Ensure accuracy and thoroughness of detail in communications

Work independently and use initiative

We are looking for someone who is able to portray a mature and empathetic approach, has a warm and friendly demeanour, and whose values align with Fertility Associates. We’re also looking for someone with:

Experience in medical admin or similar professional space

Strong grammar, typing, and editing skills

Traditional typing dictation experience not required, however familiarity with medical documentation and terminology is beneficial

Tech-savvy – comfortable with the basics and willing and able to learn new software

High attention to detail and self-motivated

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

The ability to maintain confidentiality, and act in a friendly but professional manner
