The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical team at Fertifa, a fast-growing health-tech making a real impact in people’s lives. As a Clinical Advisor, you will be the primary clinical point of contact for patients navigating the journeys through one of our clinical pathways. You will provide support for their wellbeing and ensure they feel listened to, “seen” and “heard” by offering objective clinically-informed expert guidance, navigational advice, interpret clinical results where relevant and offer empathetic support to help patients make informed decisions about their treatment journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery video calls within your area of expertise, helping patients understand investigation and treatment pathways and next steps.
- Act as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries across all health pathways, including those outside your primary expertise (training provided).
- If applicable, interpret and discuss test results, treatment plans, and follow up options with patients in a clear, actionable manner.
- Offer professional, empathetic support to individuals navigating complex health journeys.
- Manage app and email inquiries professionally, delivering informed, patient centred and timely responses.
- Document patient interactions, treatments and outcomes accurately, maintaining the highest standards of record keeping and confidentiality.
Operational Focus:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the wider team, providing guidance on complex queries related to your specific pathway.
- Contribute to the development of digital tools and services, ensuring a supportive, innovative, and efficient patient journey.
- Create educational content, run webinars, and facilitate teaching sessions on area of expertise and broader health topics.
- Work with partner clinics and diagnostic providers to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Skills and Attributes:
- You are an established clinical professional in your field, able to explain complex procedures and terminology with warmth and clarity.
- A proactive desire to learn and advise on pathways outside of your primary background.
- Deeply empathetic with the ability to support patients through sensitive and often stressful health journeys.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both patient-facing and corporate facing interactions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: A minimum of 2 years’ specialism in one of the following areas: Neurodiversity, Mental Health, Men’s Reproductive Health, Menopause, Fertility, Infant/Paediatric Care or Lifestyle Health.
- Must hold a valid registration with a relevant professional body.
- Proven experience in patient-facing consultations.
- Strong IT skills and use of digital/software tools for BAU and productivity.
