The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical team at Fertifa, a fast‑growing health‑tech making a real impact in people’s lives. Our team is made up of highly knowledgeable, compassionate and accredited clinical professionals who specialise in all of our areas of coverage. As a Clinical Advisor, you will be the primary clinical point of contact for patients navigating the journeys through family forming and reproductive health. You will provide support for their wellbeing and to ensure they feel listened to, “seen” and “heard” by offering objective clinically‑informed, expert guidance, navigational advice, interpret clinical results and offer empathetic support to help patients make informed decisions about their treatment journeys.

While this role is centred on your expertise in fertility, Fertifa is a multi‑disciplinary environment. As a core requirement of the position, you will be expected to support patients across our full range of clinical pathways. You will work alongside specialists in menopause, neurodiversity and maternity, cross‑training to ensure that you can provide high quality first‑line guidance and clinical triage across the entire clinical service. The role is dynamic and requires a proactive approach. Our company is growing quickly, and you’ll be part of a forward‑thinking team that values initiative, flexibility and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery video calls and consultations, supporting patients in understanding fertility investigations, treatment options and next steps.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries across all health pathways, providing accurate, up to date information tailored to individual needs.
  • Interpret and discuss fertility test results, treatment plans and follow‑up options with patients in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Offer professional, empathetic support to individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatments or navigating pregnancy loss and infertility challenges, signposting to further resources if needed.
  • Educate patients on assisted reproductive technologies (ART), fertility preservation and holistic approaches to reproductive health.
  • Manage app and email inquiries professionally, delivering informed, patient‑centred and timely responses.
  • Document patient interactions, treatments and outcomes accurately, maintaining the highest standards of record keeping and confidentiality for team collaboration and scale.

Operational Focus

  • Support daily clinical operations and serve as an escalation point for clinical advisors on complex clinical queries, providing expert guidance as needed.
  • Work closely with the team to monitor appointment availability and optimise patient flow to reduce wait times.
  • Contribute to the development of digital tools and services, ensuring a supportive, innovative and efficient patient journey.
  • Create educational content, run webinars, and facilitate teaching sessions on area of expertise and broader health topics.
  • Collaborate with partner clinics and wellness providers to deliver a seamless patient experience across all services.

Skills and Attributes

  • You are an established fertility nurse, able to explain complex procedures and terminology with warmth and clarity.
  • A proactive desire to learn and advise on pathways outside of fertility (e.g., Menopause, Neurodiversity, Mental Health).
  • Deeply empathetic with the ability to support patients through sensitive and often stressful health journeys.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced digital environment, balancing best in class clinical care with technical efficiency.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both patient‑facing and corporate‑facing interactions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must hold a qualification with a valid NMC registration.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ specialism in fertility nursing.
  • Strong up to date knowledge of fertility treatments, including IVF, IUI, egg, sperm and embryo freezing, and donor conception.
  • Proven experience in patient consultations and case management within a fertility setting.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Semble, or equivalent patient management software).

Desirable

  • Experience or clinical interest in our other pathways, such as Menopause, Neurodiversity, Weight Management (GLP‑1s), Mental Health, etc.
  • Experience in and comfort with delivering health education, public speaking or hosting webinars.
  • Experience in a digital health or virtual clinical setting.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to support patients across diverse pathways, with training provided as needed.
  • Flexibility to work a rota including early starts (8 am) and late finishes (8 pm).
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, staying current with healthcare practices relevant to our services.
