Job Description
Ferrovial Construction is looking to appoint a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join its HR team in the UK.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles across Ferrovial Construction UK project-based positions.
- Proactively source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, internal mobility platforms and networking.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including CV reviews, phone screenings and interviews, to evaluate qualifications and fit for open positions.
- Maintain ongoing communication with candidates to keep them engaged throughout the recruitment process and provide timely feedback.
- Schedule and facilitate candidate interviews, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Create and post compelling job advertisements on relevant platforms to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future recruitment needs.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
- Adhere to all relevant employment laws, regulations and company policies during the recruitment process.
- Generate and share regular recruitment metrics and reports to assess progress and make data-driven decisions..
- Ensure all candidate and stakeholders interactions reflect Ferrovial’s values: Excellence, Innovation, Collaboration, Integrity, and Respect
Relevant Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
