Job Description: The Quantity Surveyor will support the Commercial Manager as part of an integrated project team, contributing to the delivery of strong commercial outcomes for the Slough project. The role involves a blend of independent and collaborative tasks, completed to regular deadlines across the full commercial cycle.
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Cost & Financial Management:
- Contribute to Cost/Value Reconciliations and End-of-Life Cost Reporting.
- Prepare, submit, and agree interim valuations, final valuations, final accounts, and subcontractor final accounts.
- Oversee subcontractor payments, certification, and financial administration.
- Lead cost monitoring and reporting activities.
Contract & Commercial Administration:
- Manage NEC contract administration including early warnings, compensation events, and commercial records.
- Support dispute resolution and advise on contractual redress.
- Prepare subcontract scopes, packages, and tender documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Maintain effective commercial relationships with subcontractors to optimise value and service quality.
