The H7 framework includes airfield works (taxiways, runways, stands), civils (roads, demolition works, underground and above ground structures), and MEP packages (services tunnels, lifts, life safety systems, fuel/fire mains).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work nightshifts on a permanent basis; sporadic dayshifts may be required.
  • Assist the H7 Quality Manager to ensure adherence to HAL Employer’s Requirements for Quality Management at H7 Projects.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact regarding all quality control/assurance aspects, supporting the project and site teams to ensure the implementation of Right First Time.
  • Engage with the team to reinforce the Quality Culture through activities like quality inductions, quality circles, lessons learned events, toolbox talks, etc.
  • Facilitate quality inductions for the Work Packages team, including suppliers, and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Ensure Inspection and Test Plans are accepted prior to work commencement.
  • Review and maintain inspection and test plans, relevant inspection sheets, and other quality forms; develop and digitalize quality forms.
  • Coordinate quality documentation and liaise with construction and departmental managers regarding quality requirements, including supply chain management.
  • Review, manage, and submit the H&S File (Parts A, B, and C).
  • Promote a culture of Right First Time and continuous improvement on site.
  • Monitor and record corrective actions and non-conformances, analyze trends, and report findings.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and other quality issues.
  • Review, update, and distribute Works Package Quality documents, including site records and testing documentation; ensure timely benchmarking with the Employer.
  • Maintain the Quality verification plan, quality registers, and other relevant documentation; update the Quality Management plan as needed.
  • Assist during audits and compile documentation for closure.
  • Update and maintain the project’s Common Data Environment (e.g., Asite, Dalux, DocSite/SharePoint).
  • Align with Ferrovial Construction values and demonstrate commitment to innovation.
  • Ensure quality registers and trackers are current and cooperate with relevant departments.
  • Facilitate weekly quality sessions with Work Packages teams, including suppliers.
  • Maintain focus on key quality issues on site.

Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Cooperative and committed attitude.
  • Background in Civil or Building Engineering, with experience as a Site Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience in the aviation sector and knowledge of airport operation systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at various levels within Ferrovial.
  • Valid CSCS card for on-site work with technicians.
