FERROVIAL CONSTRUCTION (UK) LIMITED is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Bid Writer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in crafting compelling and winning proposals for complex infrastructure projects.
Provide Lead Author/Bid Writing services on forthcoming PQQs and Tenders (subject to timely client release of documents).Ensure responses are produced to a high standard and quality, taking into account the full question is being answered and the scoring criteria followed and applied.
Ensure content provided by SMEs is appropriately challenged and escalated to the appropriate person within the bid team if the SME is under delivering.
Working closely with bid directors, BD directors, bid managers, technical leads and field specialists to develop key messages, themes, approaches and innovative / value-added conceptsWorking with external specialists/writers and working directly with clients, if requiredSupport other Business Development related tasks such as BD related marketing collateral and/or master case study/evidence gathering activityAnalyze requirements and ensure that all proposals meet requirementsCoordinate and lead all technical aspects of the bid process including development, outlines, preparing drafts, scheduling reviews, and tracking completion of team assignmentsAssist with maintaining a database with standard proposal responsesContribute intelligence related to clients and competitors to support project pursuitsAssist in ensuring all bidding qualifications are in place and maintainedEffectively catalog department information, templates, databases, generic information, etc. Job Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.* Proven experience as a Bid Writer, Senior Bid Writer,* Demonstrable track record of successfully securing major contracts through high-quality bid submissions.* Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.* Innovative, creative, respectful, and diverse are some of the ways we describe ourselves.
