The Role
Ferrovial Construction seeks Graduate M&E Engineers to assist with, and sometimes be responsible for, daily activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development program aims to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Section/Project Managers and collaborate with the site team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Health and Safety compliance according to company policy and uphold quality standards on projects.
- Review M&E designs by third parties for compliance with UK and client standards.
- Gather requirements from clients and ensure these are incorporated into the design.
- Provide buildability advice and solutions to client problems, defining scope for delivery.
- Support tendering processes for packages of work with third-party designers and suppliers.
- Assist in coordinating team activities to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
- Ensure project compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Support the Project Manager in team management, resource planning, performance management, and motivation.
- Promote Ferrovial Construction UK’s vision and values, taking ownership of assigned work.
- Adhere to safety regulations on site and ensure staff compliance.
