Job Description

As a Talent Apprentice, you will be part of the Talent Team at our Head Office.

You will support a wide range of Training & Development and Recruitment activities, helping to deliver an exceptional experience for candidates and employees while ensuring processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

This role is part of the Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship, accredited by CIPD, with full training and development provided to support your professional growth and career in Human Resources.

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Support the administration and coordination of recruitment activities across UK&I roles.
  • Assist with posting job adverts and maintaining vacancy trackers and recruitment records.
  • Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, logistics and candidate communications.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data within ATS and internal recruitment/hiring systems (WD).
  • Support the preparation, completion and submission of onboarding documentation, ensuring all new starter paperwork is accurate and processed, and that new employees are correctly set up in Workday.
  • Support candidate communications to ensure a positive and timely candidate experience.
  • Assist with sourcing activities, including job boards, Linked In and internal talent pools.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Support the preparation of recruitment reports, metrics and hiring updates.
  • Assist with pre-employment checks administration (references, RTW, medicals, onboarding paperwork).
  • Ensure all recruitment activity is compliant with company policies, GDPR and employment legislation.
  • Prepare recruitment documentation (interview packs, offer documentation support, trackers).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and tools.
  • Training & Development
  • Contribute towards STEM activities collaborating with charities, social enterprises and educational institutes.
  • Coordinate EDI activities, forums and trainings.
  • Support monitoring and reporting of the organisation’s Social Value performance.
  • Assist in producing case studies and support communications department with curating content for new business purposes.
  • Assist Talent Team with Employability and Skills plans within local communities.
  • Manage internal employee networks.
  • Process invoices and raise purchase orders.
  • Attend regular careers fairs.
  • Provide wider administrative duties to the team.
  • Support monthly training reports and data collection.
  • Support chartership programme webinars and administration.
